What do you have planned for this weekend? Nothing? Well, you need to hop on over to 3 Scrappy Boys message board for their huge 10 day event crop. With National Scrapbooking Day just around the corner, they are hosting this event to say thank you to the retiring DT members (including myself!), welcome the new, and to celebrate our hobby.
The details-there will be challenges, step by steps, tutorials and sketches. The sketches and "classes" will post daily in the forums by 10am EST to be followed by a blog post. There are lots of prizes so be sure to show us your work.
To go with the crop, there is of course a sale! The store is 25% off. Kits are 10% off. Heather has spent a lot of time adding new products to the clearance and last chance clearance sections, so be sure to check them out.
Plus you can use code NSD2012 to get free flat rate shipping in the US (international customers receive an equivalent shipping discount).
The first contest starts now. Social media is a great way to reach new customers. So, each new follower to anything will be entered into a drawing to win an April kit. Choose any or all, each new follow gets an entry, so follow us everywhere for more opportunities to win. Facebook, blog, pinterest, and on twitter-3ScrappyBoysNC. Send your friends our way and have them say who sent them for yet another entry!
I will be joining the fun on Saturday, if you come by say Hi!

Last summer we took a family trip to Seattle and stopped by this little park on the way to the waterfront. It didn't have much in there but this little merry go round. The kids loved to have their Uncle Ryan and grandpa push them round and round. They could play on it all day long.

My baby girl turned seven this weekend, where does the time go? We had a party at home and she invited all her classmates. They did potatoe sack races, egg games, silly photo booth pictures, and enjoyed the nice weather outside on the swingset. She received many toys of which her favorite was the monster high dolls....something her mother does not understand. Love you baby girl, hope your day was special!

Over at 3 Scrappy Boys, I've posted about creating a Misting Chart as a visual for my collection of Mists. Seeing how beautiful these before "white" flowers have changed, I will challenge myself to use my mists more often.
