What do you have planned for this weekend? Nothing? Well, you need to hop on over to 3 Scrappy Boys message board for their huge 10 day event crop. With National Scrapbooking Day just around the corner, they are hosting this event to say thank you to the retiring DT members (including myself!), welcome the new, and to celebrate our hobby.
The details-there will be challenges, step by steps, tutorials and sketches. The sketches and "classes" will post daily in the forums by 10am EST to be followed by a blog post. There are lots of prizes so be sure to show us your work.
To go with the crop, there is of course a sale! The store is 25% off. Kits are 10% off. Heather has spent a lot of time adding new products to the clearance and last chance clearance sections, so be sure to check them out.
Plus you can use code NSD2012 to get free flat rate shipping in the US (international customers receive an equivalent shipping discount).
The first contest starts now. Social media is a great way to reach new customers. So, each new follower to anything will be entered into a drawing to win an April kit. Choose any or all, each new follow gets an entry, so follow us everywhere for more opportunities to win. Facebook, blog, pinterest, and on twitter-3ScrappyBoysNC. Send your friends our way and have them say who sent them for yet another entry!
I will be joining the fun on Saturday, if you come by say Hi!

Last summer we took a family trip to Seattle and stopped by this little park on the way to the waterfront. It didn't have much in there but this little merry go round. The kids loved to have their Uncle Ryan and grandpa push them round and round. They could play on it all day long.

My baby girl turned seven this weekend, where does the time go? We had a party at home and she invited all her classmates. They did potatoe sack races, egg games, silly photo booth pictures, and enjoyed the nice weather outside on the swingset. She received many toys of which her favorite was the monster high dolls....something her mother does not understand. Love you baby girl, hope your day was special!
3 Scrappy Boy's March kits are up for sale! This month I get to play with the TRIO kit and it is fabulous! Lots of MME and LYB, and fun extras.
For my first page I layered all the tags and diecuts from the kit. Aren't the row of birdies just cute?

Over at 3 Scrappy Boys, I've posted about creating a Misting Chart as a visual for my collection of Mists. Seeing how beautiful these before "white" flowers have changed, I will challenge myself to use my mists more often.
And just a couple layouts to share. The dear Santa was a Pagemaps sketch and the For the First Time is from a Got Sketch. It's a layout of my brother. I think this is the only page I have ever scrapped of him.

Getting ready for preschool and 1st grade valentines party has consumed my life the last 2 weeks. But we are ready to hand out 24 of these adorable treats and it was worth the crafty late night hours. I found these cute butterfly printables on this site from pinterest. Makenzie loved helping me glitter all the punched hearts and stick on the wiggly eyes.

Hello there! Haven't been to my scraproom in a while, been busy with other crafty things around the house and for the kids. But I couldn't sleep after my 2 year old woke me up at 11pm to use the potty, then 2 hours later my 5 yr old woke me up to take him to the potty, and then it was hopeless for me to go back to sleep so here I am. Finishing this card at 3am and here to share it with you. Papertrey Ink is having a challenge on their blog in celebration of their 5 year anniversary and the challenge today is to use one of their DT's pinterest images as inspiration for your project. I chose this image by Elissa HudsonHeather Nichols's take on the image bringing out the word YOU so here's my take excuse the crooked scan as I can barely keep my eyes open much longer.

Wishing everyone a year full of heath, happiness, and prosperity! This weekend we celebrated the year of the golden dragon. I love my little China girl and asian boys.
A quick layout based on Got Sketch using Basic Grey Picadilly
I am feeling so lucky lately. I won some goodies from Imaginese not too long ago, a chevron stamp from Kinsey Wilson's blog giveaway, and just today I was notified I won the Stretch your Kit class by Amy Tangerine from Dawn McVey's blog! Sooo many scrappy goodness! :) So it's my turn to give back. Leave a comment for your chance to win some scrappy supplies. I'll draw a name on the last day of the month. Where is your favorite place to shop?
