More May layouts

Only 3 weeks of school left for my kids and that means time to be thinking of teacher gifts. The May TSR candy wrapper stamps is just what you need to create this cute set. I used the apple, thank you, plaid and polka dot set.

I had to enlarge this photo of Paxton even though it was taken really late at night indoors with terrible lighting. It was the first time he wore his Thomas PJ's that he received for Christmas and this was what he wanted to wear for the next 10 days! He loves Thomas just as much as his cousin Koen and refused to wear nothing but Thomas. I was so excited to see that Walmart carries a 3 piece thomas set for only $10.






Did you check out that train in the corner? It was pieced together from the pattern paper sheet of Ad lib line. Fun huh?

Extra..extra..

..read all about it :) I"m low on creativity for blog titles at the moment. Here are a few new pages I created. This one is for the Recipe challenge I'm hosting over at www.scrap-room.com this weekend. Be sure and head on over to the message board for their weekend long crop. Lots of challenges and fun prizes offered. I put this page together in 30min while my son was napping and the other 2 kids playing and bothering me. I just wanted something quick and simple and to windle down my scrap pile. And these two pages were created using Sketch 104 designs from my scrapbooking retreat last year.

I'm glad I took photos before my almost 2 year old sprayed it with a bottle of Windex. Well, it's awfully quiet so I better check on what kind of trouble these kids are getting into now.

Easter Layouts

More April layouts to share. Sometimes when I create a layout, I end up with a page that just doesn't look how I want it to. Like this one. I wanted to use more than one photo but the ones in the top left corner were not my favorites. And I really love the rub-ons but my handwriting was horrible and the flowers were not mixing well. So I moved things around and ended with this.

One of my favorite projects this month was the altered wooden photo frame. This was the before:

And this was the result after sprucing it up with some yummy TSR Basic Grey Goodness. I love damask prints and the aqua color is so pretty, now it's permanently sitting in our family room to enjoy. The butterfly cut outs are from the embellishment add-on kit, you don't want to miss out, one of my favorites..really! The doily flowers were hand stamped.

Out of my stash were the rubons, bling, button, and 2 aqua flowers.
