Easter has come and gone and here are pictures from last year! TSR kit using the girl's paperie line. Very soft and pretty.
I've been swamped with filing taxes for the family, soooo happy tomorrow is the deadline and I can finally take a break from my home office and be able to go and enjoy this beautiful weather we're having.
My new 20-700mm lens should be delivered today and my sister is in town and working from my home today so she can even sign off on it! More photos to come. Other exciting news is I'm taking an on-line class from Maggie Holmes starting May 10th. Super cool!

Spring layouts
The scrap-room's April kits are just full of Spring colors. Lots of fun designs to choose from.
For this layout using October Afternoon Thrift shop line, I had fun making the paper flower and using Tim Holtz metal memo pins to hold my journaling tickets. I love how we get just a sampling of the newest embellishments out on the market to play with! Just the right amount too.
These photos were taken last summer when Micah loved to chase the chickens around at grandma's house. Those poor chicks.
My Mind's Eye Little boy blue: Paxton has the most Nicknames out of all the kids
For some reason, my white balance setting was set too cool here! The colors are so much richer and vibrant in person.
The scallop punch is my favorite! The journaling records how Makenzie wants to turn six so she can loose her teeth like her friend John N at school and get coins from the tooth fairy. She was very upset about having to wait so long before her teeth start falling out!
Usually I have a very difficult time making cards. But this month's stamps were too cute and easy to play with.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a great Easter! I'm hoping the kids won't be scared of the Bunny this year so I can get some photos :)

Sunrise
Just taking a day at a time. I love that daylight lasts longer in the evenings now. This is my view every morning on the way to work..my exit by the turnpike.
My little Packarooo is 10 months now. He has turned into his sister. yep, he now tugs around a blankie everywhere he goes. When he wakes up from his nap, he crawls out of the room with his blankie attached to the wrist. And he's been sleeping on the floor matress we put on the ground because he hollers and yells bloody murder whenever we try to put him in his crib. He's standing up much better now but not long enough for me to capture on film...he moves lighting fast on his knees. This boy can eat I tell ya. Not like his picky eater of a brother, he'll chow anything you put into his mouth and eats mainly table food.
And a few pictures from our trip to visit Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kim in Colorado a couple weeks ago.

Using up scraps
Made this card using scraps from my Jillibean kit last month from TSR. I followed Dawn McVey's flower tutorial, love the 3d look. Check out her tutorial: poofy vintage print button flower
My cousin went on a family trip in Texas and sent me some photos to scrap for her.

Rosettes
I've been playing around with making my own flower embellishments out of fabric and an old print book.
I made this page for my good friend Monica. She decided to eat right and workout and lost a lot of weight. Doesn't she look fabulous? Photo by Emily Andrews.

Five Fast Years
Year: 2005
One special little girl entered our lives
Fast forward to Year: 2010
She continues to bring us so much joy...
We just got done celebrating her birthday with 10 of her classmates and lots of family at her gymnastics gym.
Her grandma made her the bomb of a cake...what a special treat...I couldn't get a good picture of her blowing out the candles because she was hidden behind this tower.
And she brought home so much loot, it should last her for the next 5 years to come...
Happy 5th Birthday baby girl, I love you!
