April layouts
My photography class with Allison Tyler Jones is underway and one of our assignments was to post an interpretive photo. Here was her critique: "Love this! Even the stripe in dad's pants adds to this- that baby thinks he's cool!!! Anyone who has boys knows exactly what this is about. Gret job - composition, lighting, concept, interpretation" (I'm beaming :))
Just a few various challenge layouts I completed this month.

In Memory Of
Don Amphone...my husband's brother-in-law. He passed away Easter Sunday from a brain infection after battling leukemia for 4 years. He leaves behind a wife and three boys, my nephews are ages 5, 9, and 11.
I was asked to gather any pictures I have of him and sadly, these are the only few I ever took...I wish I took more. I hope my kids will remember their uncle when they grow up. He drove Kenzie to preschool in his new corvette during his last few months of good health. He taught Micah how to toughen up and not cry/whine like a baby. He taught Phoma how to play soccer and so many other things. He will be missed.

Playhouse
Still underconstruction but it is open for play. Lam started on this swingset one month ago...was supposed to be ready for Kenzie's bday party but the weather did not permit. He and my brother has been working on it a little everyday and it's to a point where the kids can play on it. The slide was just put on this weekend so the only thing left is the other half that holds the tunnel and swings. Micah loves to help daddy, he holds the drill and rulers and screwdriver and bangs on the wood like he's building himself.
