AMM

Today is the last day of challenges at WT and All My Memories was the host. I completed three of the challenges, a sketch, card and quote.

Scrappin break

I took a two day break of scrappin...so tired the last few nights so i went to bed early (10pm) now that Lam is back home. He was in Houston for 4 days staying at the hospital with Keo. His leukemia isn't looking good as they've found an infection in his brain so they are calling all relatives to donate white blood cells. We pray for him every night. The kids will say their prayers and I always ask them who do they pray for? Micah says, Baba (auntie) and Loomloom (his sick uncle), grandma, grandpa, uncle joe joe (cuz he's been coming over to help build the swing set for them everyday the last week), his choo choo train, and then his baby brother (after i remind him).

My son is sooo loud and active...so opposite of his sister. At church when it's all quiet and there's still 15 minutes left, he shouts to me "is it time for donuts yet?!" He's also a dancin fool, i'll try to post a clip from you tube once I get it working. And at gymnastics, he just runs off and starts making friends w/ other kids.

Kenzie has been hooked on watching twilight...i think it's her 3rd time. I dropped her off today at school and she cried, don't know why the sudden change since she hasn't been that way for 7 months but she was fine after I stayed w/ her for 15 minutes to work on her coloring sheet. She told me she changed her mind, that I could go back to work...and was she still a good girl?

Cupcards

Made a few cards and won a Halloween stamp from Cupcards to go.

Makenzie's artwork is showing signs of improvement. Before, she would just make dots and scribbles but now she loves to draw faces...here is our family portrait :)heehee

AKOTC

Playing along with A Kiss on the Chic's sketch challenge. This is March's SL kit papers and I just love it! Photos are of my sister and nephew, isn't he a cutie?

Speaking of my sister...guess what arrived today on my doorstep?!? Three new fiskar punches that I've been dying to purchase! They don't have them anywhere in stock in Kansas, believe me I've called every craft store so she purchased them from Colorado and sent them to me as a gift. Thanks sis!! I tore them open and already used them on this layout...totally fun! Lovin the apron lace, upper crest, and scallop sentiment. :)

Another challenge from AKOTC was to post pictures of your kiss print or smooch so here we are trying to get a good shot but it didn't happen quite how I imagined it.

Vintage Plum

This was a sketch challenge from Vintage Plum. The green papers are Heidi Swapp and were from my free WIP kit, way cute don't you think?

I spent the night making an angel poster board for Kenzie's preschool class. She gets to present her family photos, birthday, favorite food, hobbies and books to the class tomorrow.

Scrapperie

Made this layout yesterday for the challenge from Scrapperie to use the word "Lucky" in your layout. I played around with glimmer mist and lots of different stitching.

I took the kids to the neighborhood park after work while Lam worked on installing the swingset in our backyard. It was such a nice day and too many rowdy kids there. I can't wait until he finishes it so we don't have to fight for the swings and slide at the park and have little kids throw sand at my kids. Pushing Kenzie & Micah in the double stroller is like almost 100lbs and i was out of breath by the time I got there but I guess the walking was good for me cuz I'm getting really big!

I was trying to explain to Kenzie the tradition of wearing green for St. Patty's day the night before. I didn't think she understood, she kept on asking why we're celebrating Sponge Bob's friend, Patrick? LOL! But when we picked her up at grandma's sure enough, she explained to grandma she had to wear green after her shower so she wouldn't get pinched...so did Micah...and so did Panya.

WIP winner!

I'm so excited i won a kit from Work In Progress! I've been following their blog for a while and what a sweet surprise to be getting some fun scrapy supplies from them.

This layout was a sketch challenge.

And this was a challenge to use a photo on a card. I took this picture last summer when i was learning how to use manual on my camera and choosing to have part of the picture in focus.

Happy 4th Birthday baby Girl

My little Makenzie is all grown up, turned the big four today. We had her party at home with tshirt painting and a pinata. We did have a scarf to cover everyone's eyes as they hit the pinata but after one round and all that was busted was a wing, Kenzie wanted to wear her cool McD's sunglasses that she loves. She was able to make one piece of candy fall out.

Mad Scrappin

I usually don't scrap well under pressure, I like to take my time. But willow traders is celebrating their 4th anniversary this month with daily challenges in which you have 24hrs to complete. These two pages were part of a sketch/scraplift challenge hosted by zanny zinnia. Oh, and I found out I won a free stamp of my choice from the scrap-room!!! woohoo!!!

This was from one of my favorite Scarlet Lime kits last year.

I finished this one over my lunch break at work today. I think it was a Nov TSR kit, i'm finally busting out all the scraps.

Busy week

I've got so much to do this week, I've got a stack of tax returns to file for family just sitting on my desk that I've ignored for the past week, I've got a birthday party to plan, a house to clean, my sister and nephew are in town...and yet I'm here wishing nothing was on my plate and I could just scrap.

I've got like 3 more pages to complete in baby Koen's book so I can give it to my sister before she goes home next week...here's the latest one using an inspired blueprint's sketch.

This was based on a sketch challenge on TSR's forum.
